Basil Pesto



Suggestions to enjoy Basil Pesto:

  • toss through freshly-cooked pasta, and garnish with fresh tomatoes and kalamata olives,
  • spread on grilled rye bread, and garnish with sun-ripened tomatoes, Bocconcini cheese and cracked pepper,
  • dollop over roasted pumpkin, potatoes or steamed vegetables,
  • add to soups, casseroles and stir-fry,
  • dress up fish, chicken or steak,
  • jazz up boiled or scrambled free-range eggs.

Ingredients include:
Fresh SA basil, SA olive and canola oils, sweet chilli, Californian walnuts, citrus, Parmesan cheese, fresh garlic.
