Suggestions to enjoy Basil Pesto:
- toss through freshly-cooked pasta, and garnish with fresh tomatoes and kalamata olives,
- spread on grilled rye bread, and garnish with sun-ripened tomatoes, Bocconcini cheese and cracked pepper,
- dollop over roasted pumpkin, potatoes or steamed vegetables,
- add to soups, casseroles and stir-fry,
- dress up fish, chicken or steak,
- jazz up boiled or scrambled free-range eggs.
